generation of electricity projects currently in Costa Rica:
Hydroelectric**
There are
16 private hydroelectric generation plants in operation since this
law was approved in 1990. This plants range from 50Kw. to 15.000Kw.
There are also 3 projects in construction.
Geothermal**

Wind Power **
MOVASA
(in construction)
Aeroenergia (6.5kw)
Plantas
Eolicas (20.000kw)
ICE (to
begin construction early this year)
Waste
Gases
Currently
there are no projects for the generation of power through the
conversion of gases generated by national waste dumps.**
There is
a plant using sugar cane bagasse.
